Help selling on ebay?
I just sold an item on ebay and printed a shipping label and put it on the priority flat rate envelopes that the USPS provides me with. Can I just put the envelope in my mailbox or do I have to drop it off at a post office? Also how many stamps if any do I have to put on the envelope? Sorry I am young an a ebay newb. My package weighs less than one pound it that matters. Any feedback would be helpful thanks for your time.

Since you don't know the amount of postage needed, you probably need to take it to the Post Office & let them weigh it & put an official label on it; so it will look MORE professional than having stamps on it!!! PLUS, if they tell you the EXACT postage needed, you can probably save some money because you will more than likely put too much postage on it!!! Don't be lazy...just do it right!!!

If these are the prepaid envelopes you won't need to add postage. If the shipping label was paid for at eBay/PayPal then you won't need to add postage. You don't say either way.....

If the envelope is thin enough your postman may, or may not, pick it up on his rounds. It will depend on how full his sack is. You can go to the USPS website and scheduled a pickup for free if you like. You can also just take it to the post office.
