Especially now? The so-called "news posts" are uninteresting and meaningless and no one pays you any attention when *you* make a post. I'm only still connected because it's my only contact to my online friends.

well I used to think that until I started to run an adventure time page and 'like' almost every adventure time related pages on fb lol now I meet new friends that like the show and we end up having good conversations and such and interact a lot and not just adventure time I have other fandoms too and they do too and we all teach eachother and such like I love Batman and MLP I also really like the show FRIENDS and I like the band A Day To Remember so that's another thing I interact with people about plus I'm in a theater group in my town and they have a facebook group and a facebook chat so we do that and etc etc. (yes you will always find a douche but when do you not? you find those in person as well lol just idk like the right pages I guess)

If it sucks you shouldn't use it.

I like it because it lets me see pictures and videos of my family that lives far away. Some of them I wouldn't talk to very much without Facebook. I am very grateful for this free service they provide me with.

I see pretty much every thing anyone posts because I don't have hundreds of friends. It seems they all see the things I post too, so I don't understand your problem.

Since when was Facebook the only way to contact a person? What about Yahoo, Skype, Twitter, Google and so forth? Don't any of them exist anymore?

And it's not really "free", you still pay for electricity in order to use it...
