are there any search engines or ways to search which get rid of american results?

I want results from uk and rest of europe to look at some european books which were sadly turned into american films and now thats all the search engine results come up with (for the first 1000 pages or so at least!)....

add the words 'UK' and 'europe' to your search term - that should cut it down quite a bit.

If you want results from the UK, you should include co.uk and for Europe include domains names of European countries with your search engines.
