The question is about Internet Connection. Please read in detail below.?

I have already applied for internet connection via landline broadband (BSNL India). The connection is not activated yet. I have purchased modem and connected to pc. The Green light indicating the DSL (Digital subscriber Line) is not glowing
1) which means the wired connection is broken and should be repaired? Or it indicates what?

(Connection to the landline is working properly. Internet connection isn't activated.)

2 before getting the connection, can i know if it works after the activation?

Call the Customer care.. and tell your problem

Once again remove your wire form modem then connect after that it's not working means you can call BSNL customer care.
