How has social media changed our behavior for the better?

Hell no, here's things that have prominently been identified of the generation that has grown up in the digital age...
*Immediate gratification: They have everything at their finger tips, thinking this is commensurate with the rest of the outside world where most things of value are earned over a long period of time.
*Poor(er) social skills in regard to normal social cues like eye contact, posture, appropriate speaking language (i.e. knowing not to speak in online acronyms or slang in regular situations), respect of superiors.
*Tendency to create a "bubble" around themselves when in public vs interacting with surroundings, causes a disconnect to normal surroundings and physical/social environments.
*Online bullying more prevalent since you don't learn the empathy that you witness, theoretically, when you bully someone in person and see their physical reaction.
*People that spend inordinate amounts of time socializing online vs in person lack adequate social skills in regards to meeting new people and creating relationships as well as in new career interactions.
*Creates a "me first" philosophy...everyone needs to know what i am doing every second and I can become known online for doing really nothing of value.

Lots of positives obviously, but often overshadowed by the negatives in my opinion.

Social media has almost utterly destroys the people I interact with throughout my life. For instance they are constantly judging, constantly looking for external validation, acceptance and security. They are in effect beggars.
