Why do people think straight men don't like skinny women?

I don't know who thinks that. Taste in women is subjective. I like most women as long as their hot. I mean like in a physical way. Some attractive women don't do it for me if they don't fit my taste.

I've never heard this stereotype before... I mean I've seen bitter people say things like, "skinny women have no body" or something implying that... but only a vast minority of people. For example, on my Facebook profile there is this kid who is always posting pictures and statuses that imply "curvy or chubby women are better then skinny women"... but it's really just preference. Neither is better... we cannot control which we are attracted to, it's something that goes on in our unconscious mind. You cannot tell yourself, "I am going to be attracted to the next girl I see and I will love her forever", you just can't.

The girl I have had feelings for for the past while is skinny... and I am a straight guy. I repeat, I am a straight guy and the girl I like is skinny.

It's mainly bitter jealous people. If a big person was so "confident" they wouldn't feel the need to call down thin girls in order to put themselves up in the first place. It just shows their lack of self-esteem. It's also silly how thin girls get bothered by their snide spiteful comments also, just be confident and know your awesome.
Skinny does not mean anorexic. If a fattie tells me to eat a burger i will tell them to eat a salad.
