has anyone had problems setting this up. also does this save your passwords and add ons aswell

I use it myself.
First you'll have to make an account.
Afterwards you can sync your add-ons, browsing history, passwords, preferences, bookmarks and open tabs.
Remember to keep your sync key safe!
