I like an Asian...but I have a child?

So I'll get straight to the point I have a one year old (the babies father (Japanese) left me before the baby was even born. I focused on my baby, school, and work. At school I met an Asian guy who I really like. We have gone on a few casual dates alone and with friends. The other day he officially asked me out. The thing is I didn't know how to answer him. I mean from my past experience Asians (usually parents) don't accept gf/bf with kids from other parents. Not only that I'm Mexican too and usually Asian parents like there children to date within there race. How should I tell this guy? When should I tell this guy? I know this may seem like I'm jumping to conclusions but I like him a lot and we both want a serious relationship me more so since I have a baby. Maybe I shouldn't date? it would be nice to have some company and a person to share moments with.

Basically is dating a non-asian with a kid a deal breaker?

Don't rely on past experiences to guide what you're doing now. Do what you and feel is right for you and your child now. I don't think it will be a huge deal, and if it is, you can sort that out when it comes to it. But you shouldn't say no to this guy because he is Asian and you think his parents won't like you, you never know what might happen. Chances are, they will accept you and your child.

For me, its not a deal breaker if I also have a kid and a single dad but that's personally me. Sorry. I'm young anyways, I don't think people my age have kids lol. Although I'm an adult.
