Wholesale site issue HELP!?

I was gonna buy some items on this site that sells wholesale good from china. But just before I bought them the site then asked me to put in 3 digits of my 4 digit password on my credit account. I didn't put in the 3 digits and then I closed down the site and thought I hadn't bought them. By the way when it asked me for 3 digits of my 4 digit password this was a security check that had been powered by Visa on my account. Anyway tonight I got an email saying thanks for buying from our site and so on. But would the money have been taken out of my account seen as I did not enter my pin or not? Because I don't think my bank would allow it seen as I didn't put in the code, right?

Well if you did not complete your order, than you should not be charged. Can't you check your balance online? Which Visa card is it? I think if you go to chase.com, you can find out your balance by creating an account.

Are you certain the email is not saying "thank you for committing to buying, but you still need to pay"?

Or, what you're saying is that you've noticed a fault with VISA's authentication system, OR that you were being conned into believing that everything was legit. Which site (that sells wholesale good from china) were you using? Have you done a Google to see whether it's reputable?
