I have created a Facebook page for my business to create links into my site (http://www.fda-packaging.com) to improve SEO. I don't really want a Facebook link on my site, IS THIS IMPORTANT?. Maybe i could hide it on my site? Only professional answers please

You don't have to put a fb link on your site but, depending what your site is, it can be useful. If for example your users can add comments, they may want to share that with others, which is great for traffic.
If your website is hosted on account which allows sub domains, you may want to install this:
http://www.seopanel.in/
Simply download it to your pc, upload to your sub domain (or create a folder on your domain, i.e yoursite.com/folder/) then follow installation instructions. You then have access to a range of optimisation tools.

Not really. However, not linking your Facebook site/link may reduce your chance of getting more business.

You may also choose companies who does SEO to promote your business.

Why would you have a Facebook link on your site? Its Facebook that is goigng to have links of your products/services.
