It's not normal or appropriate in my opinion to do that to someone you meet while on the job. You shouldn't facebook "stalk" or add as a friend if they didn't ask you to or give you their information. Just because you guys had a friendly conversation while you were on the job, doesn't mean she wants to be facebook friends. She probably got creeped out a little. Just let it go. There's nothing you can do. Unless you see her again you could explain yourself. Otherwise let it go

She may have blocked you on facebook, not because she views you as a bad guy, but rather, because she has fallen prey in the past to opening a facebook relationship too quickly with bad result. In truth, it could easily be that she is simply protecting herself from that which has bitten her before. If you give her credit for being honest with you from the gitgo about where she does not wish to go with you rather than making a game of it as so many do on facebook, it would be easier for you to adopt an attitude of "I don't want to be where I know in advance I am not wanted." That would demonstrate for all to see a level of adult maturity worthy of being attracted to. You will not convince her that you are a good guy by being a bad guy to entice her interest.
