Am I wrong for demanding privacy in this house?

I am 18 years old and am working two jobs to try my hardest to move out and get my own place! Times are hard and I know that. Anyways, my 16 year old sister has a very bad habit of barging into my room (without knocking). Often times she'll just sit on my bed or look over my shoulder while I'm doing stuff on the computer like sending out e-mails, blogging, or going on Facebook. I find it very creepy, disrespectful, and annoying. Half the time when I tell her to leave my room she'll refuse to leave! There have even been times where she'll barge in on me getting dressed. I told my mom I would like for my sister to respect my privacy and she got mad at me. She says that "an 18 year old shouldn't need privacy unless you are doing something you aren't supposed to be doing". I don't even have a boyfriend so I'm not sure what she's worried about. I just want some privacy until I can make ends meet on my own and move out.

It is your moms house so maybe instead of coming up to her complaining about your sister, come to her with a plan. Give her suggestions or answers that she can see your not a kid winning and tattling on your sister but an adult that needs your own space. The computer should be in a public spot but maybe if you moved it out of your room your mom wouldn't mind letting you get a lock? That suggestion my relieve her of some worries and show her you mean business. See if you can come up with one you like and present it to her as a solution and you'll more likely hear a yes.
