Oral or shot injection and how much for a rabbit?
I am going to worm my two Mini Rex bucks and 7-8 ib lop doe tomorrow. I'm not doing my Mini Rex doe because I just recently mated her. I am going to use Ivermectin horse paste or Noromectin (Which is Ivermectin). How much should I give and if I use the noromectin, that we use for our dogs which we give by a shot injection. Should I administer it through a shot injection? Which would be better, the oral horse paste Ivermectin or the Noromectin through either shot or maybe oral injection.

I am asking because their aren't really rabbit savvy vets around here and the other vets, all they care about is how much money they make. I am tired of wasting money on vets that don't do or tell me deadly squat.

I would use ivermectin horse paste (not an injection). I have heard that using a piece the length of a sharpened pencil lead and the width is plenty for a rabbit and that going with the pea size (as is mentioned on various sites) is too much. Personally I have not tried this yet, but it is what my fellow ARBA breeders are beginning to do.
