What is the best way to advertise online?

I am advertising a software of facebook but it's not enough, the software is an image editor and any one who has used it really liked it so please tell me where are some good places to advertise Online and please don't answer with GOOGLE IT or GOOGLE .... I need a good answer thanks

well, Google Adverts are actually pretty effective, your text ad will come up depending on factors such as search term and location, and you pay per click (and you can set a limit for how many clicks you want to pay for each month)

Without question, Google Adwords.
But you need to do plenty of research before getting into it.

1. you need to be sure Google won't "slap" you and pull your ad.
2. What the going rate for the good keywords? The CPC for each.


You can also use ad brokers.
They basically take your ad (image or text) and place it on 1, 2 or tens even hundreds of sites for you.
Typically you'll pay for these per 1 thousand impressions.
Buysellads is one of these ad brokers.

I've had tremendous success using Adwords myself.. with all manner of products.
Also, if you sign up for an Adwords account and just wait a couple weeks, they'll send you a special code you can punch in for $100 worth of advertising

Oh and I've had horrible results with FB ads :\

According to mine facebook and twitter are the best social media for advertising as well as classified ads also.

Who were the people who tested and liked your editor? Who does it best serve? Talk to everyone and you talk to no one. Fine tune down to WHO it serves and then find them where they are and interact with the usefulness of your program in a way that engages those that you intend to serve.

All I remember was that they were very quick to reply and they worked with my budget very effectively. This was about 6 months ago that I did business with them.
