Is 300 mb enough for a smart phone?
Like for facebook, twitter, snapchat, and little internet browsing. I could download other apps with wifi, but is 300 enough?

Maybe for just Twitter and occasional browsing, then only if you do use WiFi most of the time.

If your mostly using WiFi then I think it'll be fine(Only 1-5 hours a day not on WiFi). But if ur not, I think u should get more. My old plan only had 600mb and for me that wasn't enough at all. I was on WiFi in the morning and at night. Now I have 3 GB and its perfect. I think maybe a bit more would be better for u cuz I use all those things like u (facebook, twitter, snapchat...) And it uses quite a bit.

If you're very careful you can probably get away with only 300mb if apps download updates over 3g or if your phone updates itself over 3g you'll burn through that in no time though.

If you're in the UK check out GiffGaff or Three as they both do quite reasonably priced plans with unlimited data.
