How much do market stalls make?
Would like to have a market stall in a couple years and just wondering what the profit is like. I'm talking a full time market, probably in London, and it would be a business, not a hobby. Any serious answers apreciated!!

Nobody can answer that
it depends what you are selling, and how many others are selling the same thing
You need a business plan, basically working our your costs, your profit margin
and your selling prices
Every week is different, as it can depend on the weather, the month and even the time
pf the month

Not enough.

Very few make much at all these days, there is a larger market called Ebay, and using t'interweb.

The days of market stalls making really good do$h are gone, you are better off working for someone else and getting £100 a day and having paid holidays and not worrying about paying bills.

You can make some money on stalls that are high margin but it is very hard work, look at some stalls in February and March and see what trade they are doing, very little.

Sit in one of the busy cafes, where you can see some stalls, first check how much trade the cafe is doing, and then deduct rent and wages (and you have to pay your staff minimum wage and holidays) find out what rates, electric and insurance to cover, then look at other stalls and see how little they are doing?

You might as well be working outside London for a ton a day and being able to live than getting a stall and having all the hassle and long hours for the same money, unless it is clearing £1,000 a week profit, it aint worth it.

Well bearing in mind that you have not told us what you want to sell at the stall and which market you want to hire a stall in, the only possible reply to your question is that Market Stalls make a LOT of money.

It seems you are clueless about what you are about to embark upon and sadly your so called business from a market stall is doomed to failure as you are not exercising any common sense.
