How do I view my new website?

First time site-owner, long-time question asker.

I recently bought a domain with "-----" and I'm hosting with "-----". I have linked my DNS with my host to my domain site.

I want to know now, how can I view my new site?

I've plugged it into the URL. I've checked the temp URl's my host site gave me. Although it was just about 30mins ago.

Does it take time to process?

depending on who you are hosting with or who you register your domain with it can take 24-48 hours for the DNS to update.....
