Help with "DNS not responding" problem(Windows 7)?

I need help with this problem I am running Windows 7 and when I try to connect to the wireless network(s) that are installed in my laptop I can't and when I run the troubleshoot I get the "DNS not responding" message and EVERYTHING I try doesn't work! I've Googled it and everything I read doesn't help. I put in Google DNS and others and it doesn't helped. Can't find a Microsoft Fix it for it. Cleared the DNS Cache EVERYTHING!! This happened before and lasted a while but either I fixed it and I forgot or it fixed itself I'm not sure but any helped is appreciated P.S. it's a WireLESS problem not wired. The apdaptor drivers are up to date and all

The WiFi base station is often a router / firewall and it often puts itself in as the DNS server in the DCCP settings it offers. Problem is, it's only a caching server and usually doesn't work very well. I usually hardwire my ISP's DNS server into the OS. If you can't get the address from the ISP's website, you can get it from your WiFi base station / router / firewall by connecting to it with a web browser. If I expect guests to use my WiFi, I usually set my own DNS and DHCP server and turn the ones in the WiFi base station / router / firewall off, that way I can have fully functional services. I can usually set up a web cache as well improving the speed at which commonly accessed web pages load. Of course, I do this all from Linux to make the Windows and Mac guests behave.

You could try power cycling your WiFi base station / gateway / firewall to force it to re-gather it's settings from the ISP's DHCP service.
