Tumblr account prolems?

So I didn't realize that you could change the url of your tumblr blog but not the username of the account so I deleted the account and started again with my user name as what I wanted the url to be, then I realized I had it right the first time, so I deleted the new account and started a new one with my original username. but the tumblr said that the username had already been used, but when I went to check to see who had taken my username, it was no one the blog didn't exist nor did the person. so how can I create an account with my original username?

Kinda jinxed it there, so you will have to wait until the name is forgotten by Tumblr. How long that is I don't know, but the thing you should have done is renamed the blog to something nonsensical before you deleted it so the name wouldn't be seen as taken.
