Why won't the video feature on instagram work for my android tablet?

for now, only iphone users can post videos...hopefully in the next update, it will be available for android users as well. As for veiwing videos, i also had the same problem but it takes time (cause it kinda has to buffer). find a video that has been posted on instagram and wait for a few minutes and then all the videos will start playing

hey my fone is LG.. i can watch the vids but can't upload my own. my friend told me that insta is still working on it after the install. so we should just wait for a week or so for it to run perfectly..

I'm having the same problem on my Ipod 5.

You have to be on 4.1.2 at least for videos to play. I'm on 4.2.2, I can watch videos, but I can only record my on using my front facing camera. Instagram is still working to get it up and running for all Android users.

I knew something was up when I updated to the jellybean version. My instagram flickered when selecting filters or adding blur. Sometimes my picture would come out gray. Then on 6.20.13 I updated instagram but currently only able to see videos but not post because it crashes when I hit the arrow. I am on an att samsung galaxy s2. Maybe it has something to do with being discontinued?

I had the same problem on my Samsung Galaxy s4 then I got another update late last night and it started working. Go to your apps and check for the update it's working like a charm for me now. Good luck

You have to update your device and then the app. I updated the app and it still wasn't working and just checked a new update. I can watch and record videos. I hope this helped!
