which phone is better, samsung galaxy s3 or iphone 4 and why?

im debabting whether to get an samsung galaxy s3 or iphone 4 but i dont know which is better, i want apps like instagram and stuff , can you get all of the apple apps on samsung galaxy s3, and does samsung galaxy s3 have a front camera?

You cannot get apple apps on an android and vice versa. There are some staple apps that can be found on both, like pandora.
A s3 has front cameras. I have an s2 and my friend has an iPhone4 and I'd say mine is better. Although it took longer for me to truly master how to use the s2.

Having got both an Android device (tablet) and had two iphones (a 4, now a 5), and spent some time messing with a relatives S3, I'd say the iphone.


There are many times more apps on Android, but the quality control is nonexistent - trying to find one that actually works right for a particular thing is a nightmare.

The Apple ones are far fewer but generally all work as they are supposed to.

As others have said, many apps are released for both Apple and Android platforms.


The final decision is down to personal preference - look at both and see how easy it is to do the type of thing you want..

Samsung galaxys3 had a frontcamera and the phone is the best you can get.
Android market had apps for all things you get and the market is better than the other.Quality is perfect and the s3 runs steady.

The S3 has 4X the amount of RAM.

The S3 has a faster processor.

The S3 is a 4G device. The iPhone 4 is not.

The S3 has a microSD slot. The iPhone 4 does not.

The S3 has NFC technology. The iPhone 4 does not.

The S3 is thinner and lighter.

Adobe Flash Player works on the S3. It does not on the iPhone 4.

Android OS > iOS.

Swapped my Iphone 4S for the Samsung S3 and will never go back to Apple; the Samsung is superior in every aspect.
