Am I hacked? My Internet is not working.?
Today a person in Omegle flooded "You have been hacked!" and then my computer's Internet is not working and the connection list is empty. What can I do so the Internet works again? Restarting won't help, and my mom's computer's Internet works. And Malwarebytes didn't find any bad program in my computer. When I click the Internet connection button in the quick bar on the desktop, the list is empty. I am writing this question from my phone. Am I really hacked? I have a HP Pavilion 15 laptop and the OS is Windows 8.1.

Could be a number of things. Try this:

1. Click the network icon on the taskbar at the bottom of your screen

2. Click 'Open Network and Sharing Center'

3. On the left side click 'Change Adapter Settings'

4. Right click the network adapter you're using and click 'Disable'. Wait for a few moments, right click it again and click 'Enable'. If you have multiple adapters and are not sure which one you are using do this for both/all adapters displayed.

5. Hopefully this fixed your problem. If, when you go to the 'Change Adapter Settings' menu the adapter is already disabled from the get go, right click it and click 'enable'.

Good luck. If this solution doesn't work for you feel free to email me or message me through Yahoo! Answers (my contact details can be found on my profile page). I'd give you more instructions here but the problem could be a great number of things and including them all in this answer would be too complicated.

No, if anything the person might have done a DDoS attack, which isn't hacking.
