Potential ebay scam!! Please help!?
Okay, so I bought a copy of a brand new video game today for $15 plus $3 shipping. The seller has no feedback and that was the only item he was selling. This seller also lives in the UK. I sent him the payment for the game and the payment didn't automatically go through. He had to accept the payment for the transaction to be complete which was very rare for me. I sent him a question before he accepted the payment and he has yet to respond to it. I sent him two more questions after that asking him about how long it would take for the game to arrive and he has not responded to any of them. I know it's only been 4 hours but if he saw that I sent him a payment, I would think he would also see that I sent him questions about the item as well. I'm very worried that I have been scammed, what do you guys think I should do? Wait a little bit, open a case now, etc. Any responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Maybe you're over reacting. some people can't stay tied to their computer just because the end of the auction has passed. Maybe he's working. Don't be rude by bugging him with so many questions so soon, but DO pay attention. He's under no obligation to answer any of your questions now, but he should be courteous and send you a tracking number when he ships. If you bugged me 3X in 4 hours, I'd put you off, too. If he doesn't ship on the time specified in the ad, or you don't receive the item, then you contact ebay and Paypal if that was your payment source. Ebay will stick up for you.

First of all be grateful that it was a low cost transaction, so if you were stolen it would not be for big money.

Secondly, give him a chance, wait at least 48 hours, if no reply is sent back, and the item is not marked as shipped, send an email to ebay, and they will help you out: no question about that.

Having had to accept the transaction himself doesn't indicate that it is a scam at all, just wait and see.
I have a feeling that you're fussing about it, relax for now, he'll probably answer sooner than you know. Good luck

It may take about 10 days from UK to USA. A scammer would go for more than 15 bucks

Remember the UK is 8 hours ahead so the guy has probably gone to bed, I think you need to wait around 10 days before Ebay will let you raise a case, anyway even it he posts it straight away it can take up to 10 days to reach the US...
