Which name is better?
I am starting a business called Daydream Box. That is the umbrella name.
However, I am having a branch shop for jewelry. You can see it here: http://www.daydreamgems.etsy.com

My question is, should I call it DaydreamGems or would it be better to keep "Box" in the name so people associate it with my main business (e.g. Daydream Gem Box or Daydream Jewelry Box). I`m worried that "Gems" implies gemstones rather than jewelry.

Which name would be best for marketing/SEOs?
1) Daydream Gems
2) Daydream Gem Box
3) Daydream Jewelry Box
4) Other (your suggestion)

Thanks for any help!

I like the short name best, probably no great utility in referencing the other business. Jewelry in the name could have a minor SEO benefit, although targeting a less competitive word would probably be more valuable and easier to get near page one.

Etsy does allow art supply sales, you might resell some raw crystals, etc to justify the gem name.

Hi, keep your name as short as possible for better SEO purpose. If I were you I will use "Daydream Jewelry".

By the way, daydreamjewelry.com is available for register too.

Robin, I'm sorry but I didn't like any name.

Day? People buy jewelry to use mainly at night.
Dream? That's a nice word.
Box? No way.

Think about sensations. What your customers will feel, or how they want to feel when they buy a gem from you? Think as a customer. Avoid too long names.
