why do i have to refresh my facebook page in order to view a notification or message?
Lately I have to constantly refresh my Facebook page in order to view a message or a notification and it's very tedious and annoying! Sad
This never happened before, but now somehow it's acting this way. So whenever I receive a message it no longer pops out. Infact I wouldn't realise I received one unless I refresh the stupid page!
Any ideas how to fix this?

maybe you or someone else has changed the settings. go into "account settings" from the drop-down arrow at the top right of the screen. see if you can find anything related to notification settings or chat settings. other than that i dont really know what else it could be
