How to go about blogging?

A person (John) had commented on one of my other questions about my life and how I like to write. He said I should start a blog. But I don't know much about the internet or websites. So does anyone know any good blogging sites? My friends and family have read some of my stories but I don't think they tell me their entire opinion. Which I really want. Anyway, do y'all know of any? Thanks!

Blogging is just like writing articles. You can start on a free blogging website or pay for a domain and start your own website. Free sites include Tumblr and Blogger.
