What's a good way to answer this application question? In need of serious help?
So I'm applying to be part of a roleplay site (not a dirty one, just an inspirational one), and one of the questions on the application asks "How do you intend to portray your character?" and I can't think of anything... So can anyone give me ideas or just an example, it would really help a lot! Thank you!

I think we can help you answer this by asking you more questions.
Why will you play the character? He/she relates to me and my experience will help the acting come naturally.
Which emotions will the character have on stage? I have suffered anything from great pain to tremendous happiness and can confidently mimic the emotions that are required.
How does the character resemble you? I am similar to the character because ____.
that's all I can come up with haha I'm not much of an actor or roleplayer but I tend to do well in job applications. Good luck Ciara! Fantastic name btw I think you need to be famous with a name like that.

I'd recommend Coloholics. Plenty of original story RPing as well as cool series-based RPs all divided into sections by genre, with plenty of consistent creative writers and helpful moderators. The community's pretty laidback and friendly overall, I'd say, every online community has some troublemakers filtering in but for the most part things there are chill.
Anyway, at the very least what I can say for sure about Colo is that for better and for worse it's unlike most other RP sites you may have encountered. It's also probably the roleplay site that makes the greatest effort to welcome and lend a hand to newcomers, with top staff and even the owner helping new members out.
Definitely worth at least giving a try and finding out for yourself!
