Trouble connecting to internet ethernet adapter is not working properly windows 8?

For a while now when I try to connect to the internet my laptop cant establish a connection & when I troubleshoot it has me turn off my wifi or router or whatever the heck its called, then turn it back on & only when I do that will it connect to the internet. Then I get I the following message "ethernet adapter is not working properly Detected" and "Problem with wireless adapter or access point Fixed" But I have to do this almost every time I turn my laptop on, does anyone know of a fix? Also its only my laptop which does this none of the other laptops do. Do I need to install a new network adapter driver? Any help MUCH appreciated!! Thanks!

If your laptop is still new and has not passed the return date(15 days from purchase), then I would take it back. I had an HP 15-b119wm Sleekbook that did the exact same thing that you have described. I tried all of the troubleshooting and even called HP. Nothing worked so I returned my laptop back to Walmart and exchanged it for a different one.
