The developer of a facebook game threatened me because of a bad review?
I received a PM from the head developer of a game, threatening action would be taken against me because my guild and I gave him a bad review (1-star).

He had recently banned a few of us because of something they had not previously talked about at all. Some of the people that were banned had spend hundreds, some thousands on the game.
We were all very angry, and I sent a mass mail TO MY GUILD telling them to give a 1-star rating.

Apparently the dev had a spy in our guild's private FB page, and he responded angrily to me within a matter of seconds.

What course of action can I take?

1. He threatened me with "repercussions" and that I would "answer for my actions" because I encouraged my guild to rate his game down after a bad review.

2. He had an alt or a spy on my private boards. No other way he could have gotten the mail.

Thanks

I dont use Facebook so Im not fmailiar with how it works but having said that, you can do soemthing if this is the case.

Do you have all the messages sent by you and to you? You need the ones you sent to this guild and any you may have sent to this person. Also the messages he sent to you and any replies the guild sent you. Print out a copy of all the messages sent back and forth. Also if its possible proof that he could not have obtained this information without using some kind of "spy". And the review itself too would be good and any proof you have of money spent on this game. The more you have the stronger your case will be.

Once you have all that, contact your local legal aid and they will give you the steps you need to take. If he has threatened you then you certainly can do something about it. I believe this would come under cyber bullying?

Report him to Facebook, copy and publish his emails for everyone to see, ask questions about him here and publish his question and contact information, spread his email and info everywhere along with copies of his threat, invite him to suck goat taint, and pay a hobo with a raging case of herpes to infect his mother.
