twitter will send you an email open it and click the verify button or link that's how you can get verified
if you dint get the email open you twitter account and go to settings and there would be an option saying verify your email
I think there is verification for mobile phone numbers too follow the instruction and do it all

verified as in have the checkmark next to your name? you can get that if you're skilled in a particular category like music, social media, dance, art, etc or if a lot of people are making fake accounts with your name

basically if you're not famous it's really hard to get verified.
