How to shop online without advertisements about it showing up in search engines, hotmail, etc.?
I go online to like Amazon's website or other sites, and search for a product to buy. Then, when i go to my hotmail inbox or wherever, an animated gif of that item is floating around it. Are there any methods that can stop this? Let's say i wanna shop for Christmas gifts and don't want anyone viewing my monitor seeing what i am looking for.

Please help. Thank you!

That "ad re-targeting" practice is a proven effective way to spend advertising money.

An annonymous cookie is set in your browser indicating that you visited such a product, this is read by an advertising page on the fly. They don't know who you are.

Clearning cookies in your browser should for the most part eliminate this stalking activity. Try preferences / security
