downloaded picture to internet by mistake?
i think i downloaded picture to the internet by mistake
need help this is what i did

1.i put the disc into the computer and window pop up saying import pictures and video using window live photo gallery

i looked for the picture on the internet , i was looking for a certain one and can't find it i'm afraid it got onto the internet

what can i do

I dont think your pictures went to the internet. When you put a disk in, the computer asks you if you want to Import (bring) the photos and videos to you computer from the disk. when you clicked yes on the window pop up it, COPIED the pictures and videos to some part of your computer. click "Start" and check the recent files on the right hand side.

For your pictures to have gotten on to the internet you need to manually select your pictures, after you click Browse on a photo UPLOADING website.

When you take something from the internet its called DOWNLOAD, when you PUT something on the internet, that is called UPLOAD.

Unless you have something like SmugMug, your own website, Picasa, , or any of the other websites that allows you to upload an image, I doubt that it was uploaded.

When you inserted the CD, you said import. Usually they will go into your Picture or Video folder.

Do you know the name of one of the images? You can search your computer to locate them,

Or open the Windows Live Photo and go to Options. There should be something in there that tells you where the media files were uploaded
