Change my internet browser?

I downloaded something and I think it changed my internet browser. I use google chrome and I liked the start up page. But now its bing and I tried going to settings to change it back to google but its not working. I also uninstalled and deleted the thing I downloaded. and everytime i open a new tab it's still bing and I want my google back T_T

Do a scan for malware and remove any that you may have.
Go to your settings in chrome and verify you have chrome as your default browser and make sure that you have the home page set to the address you want to go to. You can also choose your search engine from there. First get rid of the malware though.

Default Browser is on the bottom of the settings page in chrome.

The On startup setting has the "open a specific set of pages" buttons where you click "set pages" to set your home page and can also be found on the settings page in chrome.

The Search setting found on the settings page in chrome allows you to choose from a drop down list of available search engines. Simply choose one to your liking.
