Is there a law that prevents people from having a Facebook page for a brand?
I have an online store and I sell one brand, and I have a facebook page for that brand in Chile. Nowhere it says that I'm the only one selling it or that I own the brand it just shows the pictures of the products and says my E-mail.
I have this guy from Spain telling me that he is going to start litigation if I dont delete it. I would like to know if there is a law that preventes me from having this page, and if he is right or not. Ads |

Without knowing the particulars of your case, and the relevant laws in Chile and Spain, AND the relevant treaty/treaties both countries are members of (and frankly, whether the United States is also a signatory to same, since FB is a US-based entity), it's literally impossible to answer this question.
I suggest you consult with an attorney familiar with the above issues. Ads |
