Is there a way to prioritize tweets you see?

Like I follow various people, but sometimes certain peoples' tweets show up more often than others. Is there a way I can set a preference to some people more than others? Or does Twitter just display ALL tweets as they come in, and my phone is just too slow to get them all?

They are more active people on Twitter and tweet often as a result it shows more on the timeline. Have you created any list? The people added if any to list will show as more often as they are selected people whose every tweet you would see on the timeline
