Etsy Search Ads question?
I'm fairly new to Etsy and was wondering about the search ads option to promote your work.

If I select the $7 weekly budget, is it $7 for just one item or $7 for as many items as you choose. I have read all the information but just found it confusing Confused

I'd be grateful for any help advice from anyone with experience of the etsy search ads.

Thank you!

Hi Della,

Glad that you are getting on Etsy to sell your items.

To answer your questions, you can select whether you want to specifically advertise only one item or all the items on your list.

A little more about etsy search ads.

When you sign up for etsy search ads, people will get to find your item when they search on etsy and if you didn't change any settings, your items can potentially show up on Google Search Ads as well under etsy's name. (You still get more exposure and traffic, note: you might)

Furthermore, if you set a $7 weekly budget, it means the maximum you want to spend is $7. If your keywords are not being searched or you just don't get a lot of impresssions on your items, sometimes you will only be charged for a few dollars for that week. $7 is simply the maximum.

If you want people to find your items more frequently, you should add more variety of keywords to your items. If you are advertising for all your items on your listing, add different keywords to each item so more keywords can be used for your search ad. (Note: You can't manually add keywords, Etsy decide what keywords to use based on the keywords you added to your item; therefore, by adding more keywords, they have more keyword options to use for search ad)

Hopefully this helps.
