short version
get real domain name at cheap registrar ----> get free hosting----> install WP -----> search for WP theme you like---->upload & install theme -----> customize theme using built in tools----->add plugins to take care of things ----->maintain site with regular content & plugin upgrades----hard cash total cost= price of registering domain unseen cost= your time and aspirin learning if you want to know how to do it better, drop over to http://poormansseo.com and get the free reports, especially 'Tips" and you can get other useful stuff there and if you want to do it quicker and better, check out the sites they are testing free hosting with--those sites are available for sale Ads |

Personally I say get a free trial version of Macromedia Dreamweaver (now Adobe Dreamweaver), read a few HTML tutorials (just search "HTML Tutorial" on Google or Yahoo) and go nuts! That way you've done it all yourself and you then have the know-how to fix problems if something stops working - whereas if you use an internet website builder or something similar if something's a little wrong it can often be difficult to fix or customise.
