Help with dictionaries?

I am looking for a good dictionary, but not one of those small ones, one like those websters dictionaries from the 80s they normally have like 1000 to 2000 pages including more than just definitions, they include flags, stuff about math, science, US history formulas to convert from a system(like metric) to another and so on. The reason of why I dont want to buy the old ones is because they became fragile and in soon years ruined, I was looking for one of those but like a 2000s or 2010s editions.
So the point of my question is basically to ask for a sort of list of dictionaries that are similar to the one I described.

U can go for those hardback Oxfords, they're pretty good and they were released just a few years back.

Well, the best dictionary I've found is... the internet.

Just type the word you want a definition for into the search query textbox of any decent search engine (such as Yahoo.com) - and voila, the answer is retrieved well within one second. Even better, if there are multimedia implementations of the word you're asking for, these will also appear in the search results.

Even better, since you're posting in Yahoo Answers, you obviously already have access to the internet so there's nothing you need to buy. What more could you ask for?
