i need help with ebay???? PLEASE!!!?

well this is my first time using ebay and im trying to buy something for my mom... the thing is i only have the money to buy what im trying to get in cash and so im trying to get an paypal account and i dont really know much about paypal so im wondering if i can buy an ebay gift card and will that work with paypal or should i buy a pre paid visa card and use that with paypal????

You have to be 18 or older to use eBay and PayPal. PayPal is very strict. You have to have PayPal to be able to pay for your item. PayPal only accepts real bank accounts and credit cards. Gift cards don't work. You can buy a PayPal prepaid card or a green dot money pak to use on paypal but both those options require you to be 18 to purchase them. Some sellers might accept a money order but you have to realize that unless you pay using PayPal you'll gave no protection if the seller doesn't send you the item. If you aren't 18 get someone who is to do the buying for you with their accounts and you can pay them cash to do it for you.
