Affiliate html codes?

Hi I am using webeasy 8 and I am trying to insert a html code for an add we are currently building the website so it is not online, we looked at it in preview mode and it shows up as text but it should be an image is this right? If not how can I fix it?

I don't believe your image code will work until you publish your website. What you can do is copy and paste the image part of the html code (starting with <img.. > into your browser and make sure an image shows up. Most likely, the image is served on the company's server, so the image will show up in your browser. Also, you can copy and paste the url part of the code and verify it works this way too.

From here I can only suggest there probably is a code error, read up a bit more on html coding, if it is using a relative address for the image file, it is expected to be in a specific location on your drive, in the same folder as the hrml file or perhaps in an images subdirectory.
