Question about Samsung Galaxy Ace and downloading Instagram?

Okay, so I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace and I'm on a $15 plan. I want to download Instagram but in order to do that I need to make a Google Account and then download Instagram from Google Play. I want to know if having this Google Account (Gmail) will use up my credit? And if so, if I disable data network mode will it still take up my credit? Thank you :-)

On mine I just use wifi which is free and the app itself (googlemail and googleplay) is free its the internet you use to access them but if youre on a contract i assume youll get some free data. Anyway, to male it definitely free turn off 3g and turn on wifi or use whatever free network data you get in your contract
