Buying something on eBay with false info?
Ok so if I bought a iPhone 5 on eBay and the seller said its in good condition but doesn't except returns. And when I receive the phone it doesn't work or is not working property. Is there anyway I can return and get my money back or something? Isn't that a law?

Report it to ebay. And for future reference, any time you by a phone on ebay, it's really important to make sure the seller has solid ratings and a lot of transactions. I've bought several; I only got one bad one and the seller had a new one to me in one day.

You have to report it to eBay as the item not described. They may require you to send it back and if you do you have to get delivery confirmation.

open a case with the ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED then return it at your own expense with a tracking number for a refund

An eBay seller's no return policy doesn't mean squat.
EBay's buyer protection program allows buyers file a 'not as described' claim within 45-days of purchase. Delivery confirmation is now included with Parcel Post and Priority Mail. You are responsible for shipping the phone back to the seller --- if you can pack it so weighs 13-oz or less you can ship it First Class --- pretty cheap. You will be refunded the price you paid including original shipping. |
