Why aren't the images showing?

I have this diary app on my phone & tried syncing it to my online account. There were about 200 really important pics on there. When I log in online, the pics r there sure enough but they are blank with a red cross on the top left corner. I tried copy pasting to word but it still don't work.

What can I do to make the images show?

200 pictures. Based on the amount of memory that is in most phones, it probably does not have enough memory to hold 200 pictures. It will synch the text (as text is tiny compared to pictures.) But it probably does not have enough memory to hold all the pictures. When you are online it is actually looking at the pictures where they are stored on line (and you have more memory.) When offline the picture are not available because there are too many to fit them all in the phone.

They are in a different format - check what that is, (usually through properties) then change how you open them on the laptop so that they open with the same format.
