his facebook profile photo is a Canadian flag with LGBT flag (Olympics)

I know how stereotyping is wrong, but my gaydar tells me he's gay

More than likely he is. But he may just like wearing Speedos. A lot of guys on my swim team wear them and the majority of them are straight. A lot of guys have a feminine voice. He may just support LGBT by using the LGBT flag. But more than likely he is gay.
