I think i'm being DDOSED Please help?

Hey i really think i'm being DDOSED because my internet keeps going off for around 1-5Minute periods. I haven't gave anyone my Skype ID that i don't know so they've not got my IP from there. My download speed is around 125MB/S but it has dropped. I pay all my internet bills. Is there any way i can protect from this and is there any way i can tell if i am being ddosed. Thanks
The firewall settings have Low,Medium,High which one should i choose?. I download a lot of thing's so hopefully it doesn't affect it

Yes sir. i believe you can turn on a DDOS protection in your router. just check your ip out in google and type it out in a browser and then go to advance to turn on DOS protection

Also, go ahead and go call your (ISP) internet service provider to ask them if there is any maintance going on with the network because that might also be the case.
