Help, I thought I changed my router's password & now my router not working, what to do?

I tried to change my password on my router, I went to details on my computer and I put in a new password then I pressed ok. After that my router got disconnected and not connecting to my computer. How do I connect my router back to my computer. I have internet connection right now because I'm connected to my internet modem .

Unplug the router for a minuit plug it back in and push the reset button. then the Router will reset to factory and the password will reset to default
