If I complain to comcast will they give me credit for not having service?
I got Comcast internet, the first day everything was fine. 2 day it went it had to wait 3 days for a tech to come out turns out the tv line and internet line were interfering with each other. Got that fixed a month ago. Yesterday had a snow storm nothing huge we've had way worse. Power went out, everything came back on later fine. Except internet. Called Comcast they said they'd send a guy out today. It was unexpected wouldn't be able to have the day off so I rescheduled for a later time today. I ended up just calling off to be here. Haven't heard from them just saw its actually now scheduled for tomorrow. Asked if they could come today, nut possible. Now I can't take tomorrow off too so I have to wait till Monday at least. I hate complaining I work at a call center I know how that goes but man this sucks. We do a time without service credit when people complain think they'll do something like that for me? I did all the troubleshooting im very tech savvy so it's nothing I can do

You can try filing a complaint with them. If that doesn't work, get a reference number from your call, and you can try filing a complaint with the BBB (bbb.org). However, most internet companies have a clause in their contracts that stop you from claiming time back.

probably, since CC is the most grossly unprofessional corp I ever dealt w/ and are flooded w/ complaints.

BB wont do much; complain to Fed FCC and state consumer protection depts.

If they don't want to issue you a credit ( should be for half the month if you ask me! ), just tell them you'll be contacting your state's attorney general and file a poor business complaint about Comcast with the attorney general's office. Going straight to the top is usually the only way you get these under performers attention. The only other thing possible is to switch to another ISP in the area if possible. When enough people let their feet do the talking, a lousy company usually winds up going out of business in the local market.
