I dont know how Ebay bidding system works.?
If there is a item that someone bid on, and there bid is $5.00 and ebay says "Enter US $5.50 or more" if i bid $10.00 and win, do i pay the next bid of 5.50 or do i have to pay the 10.00 bid i made? and how do you do the automatic bidding feature on ebay and how it works?

Read the rules about Ebay's bidding system. And plus, if you bid a high number, you might pay for what your bidding. Because you are responsible for that amount your willing to pay. But in some cases, you might able to pay a lower amount. This happened to me once when I bid, and I bid the highest of $9. I only had to pay $6 + free shipping! It's best to ask the seller.

Note: If you can not afford the item, request for a cancellation of the transaction from the seller! Otherwise you might end up penalized for this.

With ebay bidding, you choose your max bid limit and put it in and eBay will only use as much of that limit as it takes for you to be holding the high bid. You don't know what the previous bidders max is. You could put $10 in and if their max bid is $15, they'll still be winning but their price will now be $10.50. If your max bid was $20, you be winning now at $15.50 (because you had to bid more than their $15 max bid). People bid more than once (if they see themselves outbid already) and some people bid in the last seconds. The person with the highest bid, which will be just one bid more than the next highest bidder, wins the auction. If you put in $1000 but the next highest bidders max was $50, all you'd be paying is $50.50 (just enough to beat them by one bid). Choose your highest max bid and put it in and hope that is more than the other bidders!
