How to create a website as popular as Facebook?

I'm determined to start a website as popular as Facebook and Twitter. But I have not the first idea on how to start one. Where can I learn how to create a website, the basics of website creating, and how to make your own graphics. Something like Club Penguin. Can someone tell me where to start?
