I am a 23 year old woman being bullied by other women..What can I do?
I am a 23 year old women and I feel like I'm in high school all over again, being bullied by other 20 year old women via Facebook or comments or even remarks in the street. I used to be friends with these women until other people started to notice me after I changed my hair colour and started to wear makeup and heels they have seemed to resent me. These "women" have put pictures of me in a face mask as their Facebook profile commenting saying I wouldn't pay for that if I was a lad and have started several rumors about me being an escort which I am not. They can't seem to give me a break. every opportunity is a missed opportunity with them. They have seemed to try and get people to hate me as well. I already have suffered years of depression. I just don't know how much more I can take until I do something stupid..That's why I am asking somewhat anonymously what can I do?

If I was you, I'd discuss your options with the police. Even having the police just come by and talk to them could scare them straight, because this is harassment. With Facebook's cooperation, it shouldn't be hard to prove that these women are behind the harassment. You could sue them even for slander, as they're trying to spread that you're an escort- which could be very detrimental to your opportunities inside of a community.

Punches! Punches all around!
Just kidding. I don't really have any practical advice for you. I just want you to remember that, while that kind of catty behavior they're pulling was cool in high school, in their real adult world people like bosses, friends, family, and spouses tend to gravitate toward people who are mature and respectful. Just revel in the thought that somewhere there are a bunch of other people like you who are rolling their eyes when they read these women's posts or listen to them spouting off rumors. It'll catch up to them. |

Print out the page so there is proof that there are people harassing you and show it to someone. Cyberbully is illicit.

just cut them off and leave them to get bored. Ban them from your Facebook and don't look at their pages. Try and find new social openings.

Flip it back on them. Give them the silent treatment and avoid to talk to them even if they try and confront you about why you ain't giving them any attention... blocking and deleting them would be a good start. When you walk past them, have a smile on your face. If they continue you to bully you, threaten them that you'll call the police or press charges if they don't stop.... or slap them. That's how I handle any problem like that I encounter in my adult life. Try it. I promise it'll work. You're an adult lass and you shouldn't allow people to rule your life x.
